Mac, you are speaking my language! 💕I’m a firm believer that everything we wear in public should be special and feel awesome. House clothes are another matter-we all want to be completely comfy at home, of course- but are not for public consumption. I also totally support not saving clothes “for good.”
I do my outfit planning on Sunday, but it’s more just putting outfits together, and then the night before I decide which of all of them I will be wearing the next day. I pull out all of my jewellery and accessories so that it’s ready, as I also hugely value my morning time.
jewelry and accessories planning is a whole nother level! mornings are so precious, it's such a drag to be stress pacing trying to figure out what to wear
My mornings are a sh*tshow, lol - I'm so not functional until I've had a couple of coffees. My least successful outfits are the ones where I haven't planned anything and don't have any time. Pre-planning is a gift I give myself!
I’ve been debating the nudie jeans for a while so thank you for confirming they are indeed as good as they say… and also thank you for validating my no-legging rule. It’s an unspoken rule I have with myself so I’m glad someone else gets it
the mental Cher's closet thing is exactly what I do when I have something the next day that I need to dress a specific way for (activity, weather, etc)... but I kinda love the idea of doing it every night to set myself up for a more intentional outfit the next day! also so good to know I'm not the only one who does that at night lol
Love love love this, Mac! I want to print it out and stick it to the inside of my wardrobe door (with cute washi tape). Another tangential resolution that I have is to wear everything in my closet and actually get dressed for my WFH job. Would love to look at the correlation cute outfit to productivity 📈

never will I ever wake up 5 minutes earlier BUT I’m trying to set my clothes out the night before 🤞🏼
waking up early is impossible but staying up a few min later… easy lol
Def trying to avoid leggings in public in 2025!
it's liberating!!
