Vintage Boots Under $200 for Leading a Coven or Riding a Horse or Whatever Your Fall Entails
Plenty of Prada, don't you worry!
Hallo from Germany! I’m in Berlin eating lots of meat and bread and candy and potato chips shaped like bears. The dream.
I had something else on the docket for this week but decided to take a detour after this request:
This couldn’t come at a more perfect time: after five straight days of German grey skies, one can’t help but feel a strong pull toward fall footwear.
My boot senses are tingling.
Three-inch black platforms on the U-Bahn, perfectly worn-in military boots in the grocery store checkout line, knee-high pairs lining the vintage stores of Kreuzberg like puppies begging me to adopt them — Berliners are good at boots. And I’m good at hunting down their online brethren.
I’ve been collecting boot links for you since… well always, actually. I’m never not collecting boot links. But in this drizzly autumnal weather, as I reach for wool socks and Blundstones each morning, my boot senses have heightened and been put to good use in this letter.
This will surely get cut off in your email, so read in a browser or on the app to see it all! (Half the fun happens on the app tbh — I shitpost and earnestpost in equal measure over there.) A recent discussion we’ve been having:
